About the Role
Apply your hands-on PCB design expertise to realistic workflows within Altium Designer. You’ll complete, document, and evaluate PCB design tasks while providing high-quality workflow data that supports the development of next-generation AI systems.
The role requires practical experience with Altium Designer and the ability to independently navigate real-world schematic, PCB layout, component placement, routing, and design validation workflows.
Key Responsibilities
PCB Design & Altium Workflows
Complete assigned workflows and tasks within Altium Designer.
Create, edit, review, and validate PCB designs and schematics.
Navigate workflows involving schematic design, PCB layout, component placement, routing, and design validation.
Apply practical PCB design knowledge to complete realistic technical tasks.
Workflow Documentation & Evaluation
Record your screen while completing assigned Altium Designer workflows.
Clearly demonstrate the steps taken and explain the tools, features, and design decisions involved.
Document workflows in a structured and understandable manner.
Review completed tasks and outputs for accuracy and alignment with project guidelines.
Prompts, Rubrics & Quality
Create realistic prompts based on completed Altium Designer workflows.
Develop detailed rubrics for evaluating workflow execution and outputs.
Follow project instructions and quality standards consistently.
Work independently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience using Altium Designer in professional or project-based environments.
Practical PCB design experience, including schematic design, PCB layout, component placement, routing, and design validation.
Ability to create, edit, review, and validate PCB designs and schematics.
Current access to Altium Designer and the ability to use the application independently.
Ability to record and share your screen while completing technical workflows.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to clearly explain technical workflows, tools, and design decisions.
Ability to follow detailed project instructions and quality standards.
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Prior human-data experience, such as data annotation, labeling, RLHF, AI response evaluation, or model evaluation, is an advantage.
