Job safety
Where our jobs come from, and how to stay safe while you apply
Fake job offers cost African job seekers time and money every week. Here's how our listings work and what to watch for anywhere you apply.
Where our vacancies come from
Openings on this site come straight from our hiring system and are refreshed through the day. Each job's "Apply directly" button goes to that job's own application page. When a role closes, we tell you and show similar open jobs instead.
You never pay to apply
Applying to any job listed here is free. Nobody from FreshTalent will ask you for a fee to be considered, interviewed or hired.
Six signs a job offer is fake
- You're asked to pay for training, a laptop, a visa or a "registration fee" before you start.
- The offer arrives without an interview, or the interview happens only over text chat.
- The recruiter uses a free email address and won't name the company.
- Pay is far above what similar roles offer, for very little work.
- You're pushed to share your bank PIN, ID photos or OTP codes early on.
- They insist you decide today or the offer disappears.
