About the Role
Apply your data entry and validation expertise to highly detailed evaluation tasks designed to test accuracy, error detection, and data reconciliation. This opportunity is suited to professionals who are meticulous, process-oriented, and experienced in working with complex datasets where accuracy and data integrity are critical.
You’ll design realistic data entry and validation challenges, create datasets containing authentic errors and inconsistencies, define expected outcomes, and develop detailed grading standards for evaluating AI agent performance. Prior AI experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities
Data Entry & Validation Task Design
Design expert-level evaluation tasks that simulate real-world data entry and validation challenges.
Create realistic scenarios requiring accurate data entry, error identification, validation, and reconciliation.
Ensure tasks reflect the complexity and precision expected in professional data environments.
Dataset Creation & Curation
Construct and curate complex datasets across multiple file formats.
Work with CSVs, PDFs, spreadsheets, and technical documents.
Introduce realistic data-quality challenges, including malformed records, missing information, and inconsistent formatting.
Ensure datasets accurately represent the types of inconsistencies encountered in real-world workflows.
Error Detection & Reconciliation
Define the correct final state for each evaluation task.
Specify the exact errors and inconsistencies an AI agent should identify.
Establish clear reconciliation requirements and expected outcomes.
Evaluate accuracy and completeness in detecting data issues.
Grading Rubrics & Evaluation
Author detailed grading rubrics containing 35+ evaluation criteria.
Develop standards for assessing AI agent outputs against defined requirements.
Evaluate both accuracy and completeness of error detection.
Ensure grading criteria are clear, consistent, and defensible.
Quality & Collaboration
Ensure evaluation materials reflect authentic standards in regulated or audit-sensitive environments.
Review and refine tasks and datasets for accuracy and consistency.
Communicate clearly through written and verbal channels in a distributed project environment.
Collaborate asynchronously to iterate on evaluation materials and incorporate feedback.
Required Skills & Experience
Extensive experience in data entry, quality assurance, data validation, or a closely related discipline.
Experience working with data where accuracy, integrity, or compliance is critical.
Strong ability to identify and analyze data inconsistencies and errors.
Experience detecting formatting irregularities, missing data, malformed records, and silent truncations across different file types.
Demonstrated ability to maintain and document high accuracy standards.
Strong written English and ability to clearly document complex evaluation requirements.
Exceptional attention to detail and disciplined, process-oriented working style.
Strong understanding of data integrity and quality assurance principles.
Ability to work independently and proactively communicate within remote, distributed teams.
Strong ability to follow detailed requirements and produce consistent, high-quality outputs.
