About the Role
Apply your writing, editing, and editorial judgment skills to help improve the quality of next-generation AI systems.
As a Content Writer & Editor, you will assess written content for clarity, coherence, accuracy, grammar, structure, and tone. You will also identify low-quality or artificial-sounding AI-generated text and provide constructive feedback to support more natural, useful, and reliable written outputs.
No prior AI experience is required. Your writing and editorial expertise is what matters.
Key Responsibilities
Content Evaluation & Editorial Review
Assess written content for clarity, coherence, accuracy, and overall quality.
Evaluate writing against established project standards and quality criteria.
Identify weaknesses in structure, tone, readability, and presentation.
Provide constructive, actionable feedback to improve written content.
Apply consistent editorial judgment across different content types and assignments.
Editing, Copyediting & Proofreading
Review and edit documents for grammar, syntax, spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure.
Improve clarity, flow, readability, and tone while preserving intended meaning.
Proofread content carefully to identify errors and inconsistencies.
Maintain high standards of written English throughout all deliverables.
AI-Generated Content Assessment
Identify and annotate AI-generated content that contains unnatural phrasing, generic language, repetitive patterns, or other signs of low-quality writing.
Assess differences between human-written and AI-generated text.
Evaluate AI-generated responses for quality, coherence, and naturalness.
Document observations and recommendations to support AI model evaluation and training.
Documentation & Collaboration
Prepare written analyses and recommendations based on editorial assessments.
Contribute quality-focused feedback to improve AI training datasets.
Collaborate remotely with project coordinators and other specialists.
Complete assignments within established timelines while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience in writing, editing, copyediting, proofreading, or evaluating written content.
Exceptional command of English grammar, syntax, spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure.
Strong editorial judgment and the ability to assess content quality objectively.
Ability to evaluate clarity, coherence, accuracy, readability, and tone.
Strong attention to detail and consistency.
Ability to distinguish natural, effective writing from artificial-sounding or low-quality text.
Strong written communication and constructive feedback skills.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Bachelor's degree in English, Linguistics, or a related field, or relevant experience teaching English.
