Java Game Developer (libGDX) jobs across Africa

About this role

This is a remote Java Game Developer (libGDX) contract open to candidates across Africa. You will work asynchronously with international teams on game development projects, choosing your own hours and invoicing in USD. Requirements

• Proven experience as a java game developer (libgdx) or in a closely related role
• Professional written English and reliable async communication
• A laptop and stable internet in Rwanda (GMT+2)
• A USD payout method such as Payoneer, Wise or a domiciliary account

Pay and what it means in Rwanda

At $50–$150 per hour, twenty billable hours a week works out to roughly $4,000–$12,000 per month — well above the Rwanda mid-level local band of $900–$3,000 per month. Payment is made in USD, so your earnings are insulated from RWF volatility.
