Pay and what it means in South Africa

At $100–$200 per hour, twenty billable hours a week works out to roughly $8,000–$16,000 per month — well above the South Africa mid-level local band of $1,500–$5,200 per month. Payment is made in USD, so your earnings are insulated from ZAR volatility.
