About this role

This is a remote Applied AI Engineer contract open to candidates across Africa. You will work asynchronously with international teams on ai & data training projects, choosing your own hours and invoicing in USD. Requirements

• Proven experience as a applied ai engineer or in a closely related role
• Professional written English and reliable async communication

Pay and what it means in Senegal

At $30–$80 per hour, twenty billable hours a week works out to roughly $2,400–$6,400 per month — well above the Senegal mid-level local band of $1,000–$3,200 per month. Payment is made in USD, so your earnings are insulated from XOF volatility.
